| Start | Welcome and Introductions by the Professors
Time table for the morning Health & Safety Briefing Talk about the workshop objectives and the fact that it is designed to be fun! Icebreaker & Energiser “Where were you born and where do you live now?” whilst moving around room. Hand out name badges to all participants in the form “Dr <First Name>” |

The Science of LEDs Interactive |
| 25 mins | Demonstrate how to make an LED “throwie”
Participants make an LED “throwie” and throw it at a metal dart board |
| 45 mins | BREAK (Drinks & Biscuits) |
| 55 mins | Divide group into smaller sub-groups
Give a short demonstration of how to make a sculpture using some pre-made sculptures Each sub-group will draw around one of the group members and decorate the body with LEDs, pens, angel-hair and glue All group members can make an LED 'robot' mask or LED plate again using the supplied LEDs, pens, glue, angel-hair, etc |
| 1hr 40mins | Celebrate the creativity of the group by displaying the sculptures with lights turned off and some ambient music |
| 1hr 45mins | Participants complete simple Feedback Forms to ensure we improve over time and that we have met the objectives of the workshop |
| 1hr 55mins | Give each participant an LED Light Fantastic Certificate
